Global furniture maker goes with NexSys® TPPL Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) technology for its new manufacturing site

As a leading furniture maker prepared to open a greenfield manufacturing site, the company sought a lower maintenance, lower cost option than flooded lead acid batteries to power the new facility’s lift truck fleet. After reviewing the results of a power study conducted by EnerSys®, the manufacturer selected NexSys® TPPL Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) batteries. The decision will help the new site virtually eliminate battery maintenance and save up to approximately $500,000 over five years.
